The 6′ Stitch & Glue Kayak kit is almost big enough to paddle! Well, not quite but it is a very large kayak model equal to the real thing in detail. The easy to build kit produces a real kayak the same way as if you bought a full size kit. The 2.5mm Mahogany plywood panels easily “stitch” together with the included thin copper wiper which is easily cut with scissors. Also wide clear pine strips and Red Cedar for the decking. A two piece coaming, thin plywood hatches that can optionally be made to open. Life like webbing, foam seats and knee pads, copper wire for the stitching, decals and more. The panels come as two pieces cut on the CNC with a ball and socket tenon that will be glued together to make the 72″ panel. Because of this, the kit can ship internationally in a 42″ box.
