Jack Simmons of Vancouver Washington did some interesting things to his 54″ build by staining the inside a green color and installing a set of floor boards or deck. Looks great! He is now getting ready to build the kayak.
Floor boards in the 54″ canoe
Dan Whalen of Washington Depot, CT, built a beautiful 54″ canoe and added floor boards, giving it a real authentic look. Great job Dan!
Beautiful 42″ strip kayak by Bob Christiano
The new 72″ Kayak light soon to be available as a kit.
I had numerous requests for a short length kayak light, so I finally made one for Denise in Barrington, NH, to light up their lakeside home. It is exactly like the 94″ version, scaled down. The advantage of this light over the other is shipping cost when completed. Very pleased with how it came out. Should have the kit available soon.
Nicely finished 24″ Canoe
Geoffrey Stark of Las Vegas did a great job on a 24″ canoe kit. He stained it a pecan color and bought the extra red cedar strips for the bottom.
Cool 72″ canoe light with a lg fan
I built this canoe with a big fan for Myra and Tom, from Contoocook,NH for their beautiful porch overlooking Rolfe Pond. Morgan Exteriors from Hookset, NH did the renovations and installation of the light and fan. Came out very nice.
96″ Canoe Chandelier over dining table.
I have been building most of the 96″ Chandeliers with the 7″ LED lights, pine strips with the pecan stain. I also found a supplier of #2 brass screws which add a nice touch and more durability to the canoe. This one is going to Canada, lake side house.
Rivisions Renovations turns out a beautiful canoe light!
Hi Ray, I bought the book, forms and caning from you. The rest I have done myself. The pine came out of rippings from a large project we did recently and the mahogany was salvaged from a job years ago. Robin lives in Peterborugh, Ontario, Canada
Geoffrey Stark’s 24″ canoe!
Geoffrey Stark from Las Vegas, Nevada has done a phenomenal job on putting a 24″ canoe kit together using many of his own techniques.
The 8’mahogany stitch canoe made into a liquor cabinet.
Mike and Linda located in NH, are building the coolest of bars. Mike had me build the deep stitch and glue canoe, finished out in pine rails, seats and thwarts. He had a glass shelf cut and fitted. The rest of room is just as awesome. Thanks for the photo Mike!
